This is a re-organised site for Basis Volume Limited. We offer:-

gigabit networks,
network computing machines,
analogue interface cards and machines for measurement and control,
science/engineering books related to the above.

We hope this site will be useful to all but in particular to those in

the lab and the factory: (for process control uses),
the networked home and office.

On the top of the navigation system (next to the b-vol logo) above, please press:-

News:

Basis Volume and advanced materials technology/equipment:

Basis Volume has long been involved in advanced materials research and development. It is our forte. Key members of the company have made significant contributions to areas of solid state science such as high TC superconductivity, fuel-cell and solid state chemical sensor developments. ( For example, we were the first in the world to make a a high TC superconducting tube exhibited at the Science Museum in London.) This spring (2004) vital equipment costing large five figure sums were stolen from premises the company rented. These included nearly-new plasma spraying equipment, thin-film evaporation equipment, centrifuges, glove-boxes, expensive rare-earth materials, and many others; worst of all priceless prototypes. Until we are able to track down our equipment, we have to suspend our plans for resuming our materials business. In the mean time if any reader comes across wandering items such as plasma spraying apparatus (made by AEI/Air products) please contact us.
